The Avengers (2012) and its sequels (2015, 2018, and 2019), Captain America: Civil War (2016), and Spider-Man: Homecoming all had him reprising his Tony Stark character (2017). Hugh Lofting's fictional character, Dolittle, was the inspiration for the family comedy Dolittle, in which Downey featured in 2020.
